One of the largest and most established banking institutions in NYC.
Job Description- Establish and enhance the Third Party Risk Framework to effectively manage third party risks.
- Revise third party risk management policies and procedures.
- Create and implement an annual work plan to review and challenge risk identification, assessment, control evaluation, and testing activities.
- Apply a consistent risk rating methodology for controls that aligns with the Operational Risk Framework.
- Conduct periodic assessments of third party risks.
- Monitor and track third party risk management lifecycle activities as the second line of defense.
- Provide guidance on third party risk management to First Line Units (FLUs).
- Ensure comprehensive documentation for the bank's third party population.
- Prepare consolidated reports on third party risk.
- Stay informed about industry tools, trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to enhance the efficiency of third party risk management activities.
- Ensure the timely implementation and updates of the third party risk management system.
- Deliver training on system upgrades and updates to all users.

The Successful Applicant- A bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in the financial services industry is necessary.
- Minimum of 10 years in risk management, including at least 2 years in third party risk management.
- Required knowledge of operational risk management and assessment, regulatory compliance, general IT risk, IT operations, and business workflows in the financial/banking sector.
- Certification as a Third Party Risk Professional or Certified Regulatory Vendor Program Manager is preferred but not required.
