Job Description- Conduct routine inspections and audits of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures.
- Perform laboratory tests, sensory evaluations, and shelf-life studies.
- Monitor and document critical control points (CCPs) and ensure HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) plans are followed.
- Investigate non-conformances, customer complaints, and product recalls, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to maintain quality and food safety standards.
- Ensure all documentation, including batch records, quality logs, and audit reports, is accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist with internal and external audits, including those from regulatory agencies and certification bodies (FDA, USDA, GFSI, etc.).
- Provide training to staff on quality assurance practices and food safety protocols.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in food quality assurance.

The Successful Applicant- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in food manufacturing operations
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field is a MUST
- Strong knowledge of food processing techniques, equipment, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, USDA, HACCP).
- Proven track record of driving operational improvements and achieving measurable results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Effective Communication Skills

- Prior experience in Food Manufacturing.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven leadership and ability to train and develop subordinates, including the ability to conduct training sessions for all plant personnel.
- Must be willing to work occasional weekends and long days when necessary.
- Deep knowledge of production management
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
- Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
- Outstanding communication ability
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
