Job Description
  • Conduct routine inspections and audits of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures.
  • Perform laboratory tests, sensory evaluations, and shelf-life studies.
  • Monitor and document critical control points (CCPs) and ensure HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) plans are followed.
  • Investigate non-conformances, customer complaints, and product recalls, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to maintain quality and food safety standards.
  • Ensure all documentation, including batch records, quality logs, and audit reports, is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, including those from regulatory agencies and certification bodies (FDA, USDA, GFSI, etc.).
  • Provide training to staff on quality assurance practices and food safety protocols.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in food quality assurance.

The Successful Applicant
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in food manufacturing operations
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field is a MUST
  • Strong knowledge of food processing techniques, equipment, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, USDA, HACCP).
  • Proven track record of driving operational improvements and achieving measurable results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Effective Communication Skills

  • a must; bilingual a plus.
  • Prior experience in Food Manufacturing.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven leadership and ability to train and develop subordinates, including the ability to conduct training sessions for all plant personnel.
  • Must be willing to work occasional weekends and long days when necessary.
  • Deep knowledge of production management
  • Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
  • Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
  • Experience in reporting on key production metrics
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
  • Outstanding communication ability
  • Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
