Job Description
  • Assist in the planning, management, and execution of commercial construction projects
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • May work with pre-construction team in development of project
  • Monitor project progress and address potential issues promptly
  • Participate in project meetings and provide status updates
  • Assist in budget preparation and cost estimation
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to on all sites
  • Conduct site visits as necessary to monitor project status

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Construction - Asheville should have:

  • 2+ years of construction experience with a general contractor is required
  • Experience working on ground-up commercial, education, healthcare, and/or industrial construction projects is required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or relevant degree preferred
  • Experience managing commercial construction projects
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in project management software
  • Knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations
