Essential Functions -- Develop a culture of high performance and employee engagement by inspiring, developing, and motivating internal talent. Facilitate good discussions with employees in order to understand their professional goals and aspirations.Create an environment of open communication that fosters upward feedback and suggestions. Make well informed decisions, demonstrate initiative, exhibit autonomy and execute on organization initiatives.
-- Take a proactive role in the recruitment process in partnering with Human Resources to reduce time to fill and quality of hire for all open Operations positions. Recommend and collaborate with HR on formal training and development plans for high potential employees in Operations.(Measure by Employee Engagement and Retention)-- Responsible for all warehousing and production activities in a branch location including inbound and outbound shipping, receiving, fabrication and machining, and supporting sales through quoting of fabrication and lead times.
Develops warehouse operations systems and improvements by analyzing process workflow, workforce and space requirements, safety needs, product handling, and equipment layout.-- Drives continuous improvement of all Operations functions with focus on Lean process improvement.
Focuses on removal of waste from systems, processes, and fabrication, while increasing impact of value-added activities. Leads team in education and application of Lean principles and initiatives.
- Financial Metrics and Tracking
Gains system proficiency in order to conduct Root Cause investigation and resolution of any issues. Impacts change across department lines by working with other company leaders to reach company goals.

+ Associates or better
Experience
Required
+ 5-10 years: *5-10 years’ experience with warehousing, fabrication, and inventory management in a leadership role
- Experience with practical application of Lean Methodologies
- MRP inventory systems experience required
- Budgeting, P&L experience and Project Management skills preferred
- Computer Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
