A Civil Superintendent is needed for a leading construction organization in the Burbank, CA are. The Civil Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing subcontractors and vendors, ensuring efficient construction of both landside and airside portions of a large-scale facility.
You will play a key leadership role in maintaining schedules, safety, and quality control while ensuring smooth project execution from start to finish.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in civil construction, with a proven track record in large-scale projects, particularly airside apron paving. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage relationships with owner representatives, architects, and subcontractors are essential for this position.

responsibilities:
- Oversee subcontractors and vendors in landside paving, landscaping, utilities and airside apron paving, utilities construction
- Lead the field team in monitoring schedules, safety, and quality, ensuring accountability across the board
- Coordinate with the project leadership, design team, owner representatives, and stakeholders to maintain project goals
- Provide leadership during project closeout, including AHJ sign-offs and punch list management
- Troubleshoot field engineering issues and provide proactive solutions to avoid project delays
