Paralegal

Our client is seeking a Claims Paralegal/Specialist. This role involves managing commercial claim recovery files pre-trial, including issuing demand letters and updating the status of matters. The successful candidate will enjoy significant autonomy and the potential for a competitive salary.

Responsibilities:

• Manage pre-trial commercial claim recovery files effectively and independently
• Issue demand letters as part of the claim recovery process
• Regularly update the status of matters to ensure accurate records
• Utilize strong communication skills to liaise with various parties
• Employ calendar management techniques to organize and prioritize tasks
• Administer claims effectively and efficiently while maintaining high standards of professionalism.
• Possess a minimum of one year experience in a paralegal role or claims role
• Proficient in Calendar Management and scheduling, with the ability to coordinate and manage appointments efficiently
• Experience in Claim Administration, including preparing and filing claims, and managing claim processes
• Strong Communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, attorneys and court personnel
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
