Overview:

A well-established engineering firm is seeking a Senior Field Technician to join their team in Central New York. This role requires a highly independent professional capable of working with minimal supervision and extensive driving throughout the region, as there is no local office.

Key Responsibilities:

**Perform field testing and inspections for construction materials, including concrete, soil, and asphalt.

**Operate a Troxler gauge for density testing.

**Use a slump cone to measure the consistency of fresh concrete.

**Complete field reports and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Additional Information:

**Equipment: No company vehicle provided.

Schedule:

**Monday to Friday, 7-8 AM to 3-5 PM.

**Occasional weekend work may be required during the busy summer season.

**Commute to job sites is compensated.
