Overview:

Kaufman Dolowich, an AV-rated® firm designated one of the “Best Companies to Work For”, is seeking a hands-on Director of Infrastructure and Desktop Support, who will play a key leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of IT systems while delivering exceptional support to all staff members.
  • Lead an internal team of IT support staff to provide high quality support in a timely manner.
  • Manage the firms’ networks, servers, and cloud environments.
  • Oversee all firm technology documentation and maintain inventory for firm-wide equipment.
  • Collaborate with the CIO to develop and implement best practices for strengthening firm security, while efficiently addressing and completing due diligence questionnaires.
  • Collaborate with the CIO to align IT strategies with business objectives, including modernization efforts, cybersecurity, disaster recovery planning, and the integration of AI technologies to streamline legal operations and enhance decision-making.
  • Evaluate vendors, manage contracts, and maintain budgets for IT services and hardware.
  • Foster a support desk culture that prioritizes exceptional customer service, ensuring timely, empathetic, and effective resolutions to user inquiries and issues.
  • Exhibit a self-starter attitude by identifying potential challenges, implementing solutions proactively, and driving continuous improvement in support desk processes and service delivery.
  • Inspire and lead the support team with a can-do attitude, providing mentorship, resources, and motivation to exceed performance goals and enhance the overall user experience.

Qualifications:

  • Law Firm experience is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in IT.
  • Strong technical expertise and ability to manage infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to lead a team, foster professional growth, and maintain high performance.

The total annual compensation range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
