Education:
A degree in Marketing, Business or a related field from a Tier 1 institution. An MBA from a Tier 1 institution is a plus.
Role Overview
As the Director of Growth, you will own and drive AION’s user acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies across both Web2 and Web3 ecosystems. You will be responsible for scaling AION’s go-to-market strategy, community growth, demand generation, and brand positioning.This role requires a data-driven growth leader with experience in tier-one technology companies and Web3 startups, who understands the nuances of both traditional growth marketing and decentralized ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities- Growth Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive growth roadmap, balancing Web2 performance marketing with Web3 community-driven growth strategies.
- User Acquisition & Retention: Drive adoption among AI developers, enterprises, and GPU providers through targeted campaigns, referral programs, and incentive structures.
- Brand & Positioning: Elevate AION’s brand presence across Web2 and Web3 channels, ensuring strong visibility in AI, blockchain, and high-performance computing communities.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Define and track key growth metrics (CAC, LTV, conversion rates, retention) and optimize strategies based on performance analytics.
- Community & Partnerships: Oversee engagement strategies across Discord, Telegram, and X, while forging partnerships with AI labs, blockchain ecosystems, and institutional partners.
- Channel Partner Management: Identifying, facilitating and enabling different channel partners for the enterprise push operating in the web 2.0 space.
- Content & Narrative: Work with content and product marketing teams to craft compelling narratives that position AION as the leading decentralized GPU network.
- Product-Led Growth (PLG): Work closely with the product team to implement virality loops, incentives, and token-based growth mechanisms.
- Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing growth team, spanning marketing, analytics, and community engagement.
- Proven Growth Leadership: 10+ years of experience in growth, marketing, or business development roles, with a mix of Web2 & Web3 experience.
- Tier-One Background: Experience at top tech firms (Google, Meta, Amazon, NVIDIA, Coinbase, OpenAI, Stripe, etc.) and/or leading Web3 companies.
- Web3 Expertise: Deep understanding of tokenomics, DeFi, Web3 go-to-market models, and community-led growth strategies.
- Partnership Growth: Experience in working with third party partners and resellers with incentive designs
- Performance Marketing: Strong experience in SEO, paid media, funnel optimization, and analytics.
- Community Growth: Track record of scaling user communities and driving organic growth in Web3 ecosystems.
- AI / Compute Knowledge (Bonus): Understanding of HPC, GPU-based computing, AI/ML workflows, and how developers procure compute resources.
