Overview:
Your Home Improvement Company - Territory Sales Manager
As the Territory Sales Manager (TSM), you will oversee sales operations across multiple branches within a designated territory. This role is responsible for achieving sales metrics, managing Branch Sales Managers and Senior Sales Representatives, and ensuring exceptional customer service.The TSM will lead sales meetings, assign leads, and handle customer escalations, fostering a high-performing sales team to drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed territory sales targets and metrics.
- Manage and mentor Branch Sales Managers and Senior Sales Representatives, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
- Conduct regular sales meetings to review performance, share best practices, and motivate the sales team.
- Strategically assign leads to team members based on performance, experience, and territory.
- Address and resolve customer holds and complaints, ensuring a positive customer experience and maintaining client relationships.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align strategies and maximize sales effectiveness.
- Prepare and present reports on territory performance to senior management.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, training, and development within the sales team.
- Other duties as assigned by Regional Sales Manager.
Qualifications:
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- In-depth knowledge of sales processes, techniques, and customer relationship management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to travel within the territory as required.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management or a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
- Experience in managing a team and driving sales in a territory capacity.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to travel within the assigned Territory, including occasional overnight stays.
- Must be able to operate standard office equipment and engage in extensive verbal communication.
- Ability to sit for extended periods and conduct presentations in various environments.
