Warehouse Associate (2nd Shift)

Working at our distribution warehouse in Norwood, MA, the operations team ensures that all of our product orders are picked, prepared, and loaded onto our trucks efficiently and accurately. Shift Available: 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 2:00 pm to 12:00 am- Bonus: $300 at 30 calendar days, $400 at 60 calendar days, and $500 upon joining the Union (estimated 4 months of work)

Key Responsibilities:
- Organize stocks and maintain inventory
- Organize warehouse space
- Inspect products for defects and damages
- Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
- Take and understand verbal direction from management while performing tasks in a productive manner
- Follow all company safety procedures and never put yourself or fellow workers at risk through unsafe work practices
- To work and communicate with fellow workers and management in an effective, positive manner to assure the completion of assigned tasks.
- Minimum of 18 years old with the ability to follow all job requirements and safety guidelines
- Ability to or qualified to drive and operate all warehouse equipment, including: Forklifts, Order Pickers, and Pallet Jacks, in a safe and effective manner
- Ability to recognize and distinguish product, both visually and in writing
- Physical Requirements include but are not limited to: ability to work at heights; long periods of walking, standing, bending and heavy lifting. Heavy lifting is quantified as the ability to lift single cases weighing up to 45lbs. repeatedly and for long durations of time
- Dependable and work in team environment
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Must pass background check and physical exam
