Bridges Healthcare Inc, is seeking a Peer Resource Advocate for our Room 4 Drop-in Center**

**$17.00 per hour/non-benefited position**

**Schedule for this position is Monday and Thursday 12p.m. to 5p.m.**(days of week may be flexible)

**PURPOSE and POSITION OVERVIEW**

Engage young adults utilizing the Center and provide assistance by connecting them with needed services.

**DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES**
  • Engage young people by supporting their involvement in the activities of the Center.
  • Assist with implementation of individualized Fast Forward Plans (FFP's).
  • Identify and assist with access to educational or employment opportunities.
  • Provide direct services, including transportation, linkage and referral and scheduling of appointments.
  • Perform any other department or agency-related duties or special projects as directed by supervisor.

**QUALIFICATIONS and COMPETENCIES**

HS Diploma/GED

Certified Peer Support Specialist program completion and/or college credits in field of Human Services.

Ability to work flexible schedule - Saturdays required.

Knowledge of behavioral health issues

Good communication and documentation skills

Computer literacy

Valid driver's license or access to reliable transportation

CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified
