Staff Accountant

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Boca Raton, Florida. As a Staff Accountant, you will play an integral role in maintaining and developing the company's accounting functions. This role will involve processing, reviewing, and submitting various financial transactions and documents, as well as collaborating with various departments within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accuracy and efficiency in processing general ledger accrual imports.
• Conduct bank to general ledger reconciliations.
• Generate bank entries to document cash transactions.
• Carry out monthly bank reconciliations for various bank accounts through the ERP system.
• Prepare and review journal entries with valid back-up support.
• Oversee and maintain monthly recurring and prepaid entries.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Contribute to month-end close procedures.
• Aid in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Assist with the compilation of documentation for audit purposes.
• Fill in for other accounting team members as necessary.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks and functions.

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all work
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
• High degree of professionalism and ethical standards
• Familiarity with accounting software and databases
