PT - Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative, based in Chicago, Illinois. This role is primarily remote, requiring only an initial visit to pick up necessary equipment. The function of this position is to manage customer service within our solutions center.

This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. The schedule for this position is firm at: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, from 9:30am to 4:00pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting call backs as required and responding to basic tickets via email.
  • Acquiring proficiency in our internal software to process membership renewals and credit card payments.
  • Utilizing skills in data entry and Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams to maintain accurate customer records.
  • Handling customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Balancing both inbound and outbound calls efficiently.
  • Utilizing customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Scheduling appointments as necessary.
  • Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when required.
  • Proficiency in answering inbound calls in a detail-oriented and courteous manner.
  • Prior experience in a call center customer service role is expected.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to empathize and resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Accurate and fast data entry skills to ensure efficient processing of customer information.
  • Ability to manage email correspondence, responding to customer inquiries and complaints promptly and in a detail-oriented manner.
  • Experience handling both inbound and outbound calls, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting purposes.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word for document creation and editing.
  • Experience in order entry, ensuring all customer orders are accurately recorded and processed.
  • Ability to schedule appointments effectively, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Teams for internal communication and collaboration.
