Human Resources (HR) Assistant

We are on the hunt for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team based in Compton, California. As an HR Assistant, your role will encompass the upkeep of employee records, the processing and updating of data in our HR software, and the execution of HR audits.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and efficient processing of employee data into HR software
• Reviewing and updating employee personnel files as required
• Performing HR audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance
• Utilization of ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now for various HR functions
• Leveraging HRMS and Ceridian for HR tasks
• Execution of background checks as part of auditing processes
• Undertaking About Time tasks as part of the role
• Ensuring exceptional customer service is provided at all times
• Managing and executing benefit functions as necessary
• Using ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode for relevant HR processes.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the local government sector
• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Experience in using Ceridian and HRMS software
• Knowledge of About Time software is a plus
• Proven skills in auditing and conducting background checks
• Ability to manage various benefit functions
• Excellent customer service skills
