Sr. TPM, SW Apps, Amazon Robotics - Robotics Software Solutions
Global Robotics Delivery is seeking an innovative, high-energy and customer-obsessed Technical Program Manager to own the delivery of multiple organizational goals in the supply chain, analytics and productivity application space.
The Technical Program Manager(TPM), is responsible to define the program (mission, vision, tenets), sets objectives, analyzes data, drives improvements that are quantified with metrics. The TPM understands the systems in native web application development, analytics and integrations with core systems, its limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions, and reasons behind architectural decisions.The TPM will drive innovation and automation on interconnected Robotics Supply Chain processes and systems while owning the engagement with stakeholders ranging from L7+ leaders, Supply Chain SMEs, development teams and engineering and product managers.
Key job responsibilities- Scope and manage large, complex technology initiatives, delivering critical solutions, significant improvements or deprecating systems no longer needed across multiple teams and organizations.
- Ensure the program meets challenging business goals and/or shows measurable improvements in efficiency or experience for customers, employees/engineers, or business area.
- Responsible for adding refining, and removing procedures by applying project management best practices to increase the productivity and effectiveness of the teams you work with.
- Proven understanding of software architecture
- Influence team technical priorities and business strategy through data-driven contributions
- Make a case for project priorities, resource allocation to achieve a desired business outcome, resolve an architecture deficiency, or unblock delivery.
- Proven business communication skills to a wide range of audiences including Directors and VPs.
- Participating in the hiring process as well as mentor others improving their skills and ability to get things done.

- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
