Senior Survey Technician -Part-time

Dewberry is currently seeking a Part Time Senior Survey Technician for our Gainesville, Virginia office to provide professional oversight and consulting services. Applicant must be responsible, highly motivated, detail oriented with proven experience and demonstrated track record in boundary determinations, following all state and local zoning ordinances, coordinating with title companies and attorneys in the Northern Virginia.
Responsibilities:
- Provide QA/QC review as well as prepare and check cut sheets
- Help schedule field crews and put together field packages.
- Support office survey staff with surge support.
- Computing, computations, review of plat/exhibit drawings.
- Proficient with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Carlson Civil and Survey.
- Experience with Trimble TBC and Carlson (Civil Suite, SurvCE).
Required Skills & Required Experience:
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in all aspects of land surveying; project management.
- AAS or BS Degree in Surveying is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Extensive experience with all types of Boundary Surveys including expert witness testimony
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required.
