Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities and industries around the world.
Project Kuiper is looking for a tenured, self-starter Sales professional to close deals in the Commercial Aviation sector. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the definition and execution of the Amazon Kuiper Commercial Aviation pipeline in the Americas region.
Key job responsibilitiesProject Kuiper Commercial Aviation solutions support airline passengers with world class connectivity services.
Key job responsibilities; • Drive Commercial Aviation deals to build a sales funnel of Amazon Kuiper service revenue opportunities.- Be customer obsessed. Think on behalf of the customer and work to meet the customer’s stated and unstated needs and aspirations.
- Execute strategic and tactical business development initiatives while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g., Amazon Kuiper product and engineering teams, legal, finance) and Sales team colleagues.
- Be the internal coordinator supporting complex contract negotiations and complex business requirements and activities which deliver results.
- Adept at thinking strategically and analytically about business priorities, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to deliver target based results working cross-organizationally.
- Excellent written and verbal communications including a passion for writing detailed strategic documents and a preference for a second spoken language.
- Consistently exceeds key performance metrics and delivers results.
- Experience driving consensus across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Must be able to articulate business value & technical approach. Experience developing, leading, negotiating and executing corporate and/or business transactions.
Experience in a professional field or military
Bachelor's degree.Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner.
Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $153,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $252,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Amazon is a total compensation company. This position is eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
