Job Description
The Project Engineer will:
- Support the Project Manager in all stages of construction.
- Prepare RFIs, submit them for approval, and distribute as needed.
- Review and comprehend subcontract documents relevant to assigned responsibilities.
- Collaborate with owners/clients to provide updates, obtain approvals, and finalize change orders for scope revisions.
- Assist in documenting changes, maintaining project records, red line transfers, and correspondence.
- Ensure all work complies with OSHA regulations.

The Successful Applicant
The Successful Project Engineer:
- Over 2 years of experience in commercial or multifamily construction.
- Preferably holds a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
- Handle administrative construction duties, including document control.
- Create submittal schedules for approval and distribution.
- Support the Project Manager with change orders, subcontractor scheduling, invoicing, and reviewing monthly job costs.
- Assist the Superintendent with RFI reports, QA/QC documentation, and construction field operations.
- Aid in preconstruction tasks, including estimating and quantification.
- Gather and log closeout documents and punch lists.
