Accounts Payable Clerk

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the manufacturing industry, located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. You will be part of a team focusing on maintaining the accuracy of financial transactions and ensuring the smooth operation of our account payable process.

• Conducting thorough analysis of vendor and general ledger.
• Providing support to the Shared Services Department.
• Processing a high volume of accounts payable transactions.
• Utilizing intermediate technical skills to manage and streamline account payable operations.
• Ensuring accurate and efficient invoice processing.
• Executing check runs and coding invoices.
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel and SAP for data entry and account reconciliation.
• Communicating effectively, both written and verbally, to resolve customer inquiries.
• Paying close attention to details and employing analytical skills to maintain accurate customer credit records. • Proven experience in the Manufacturing industry as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar role
• Proficient in Account Reconciliation processes and best practices
• Demonstrated ability to manage Accounts Payable (AP) effectively
• Experience with Check Runs in a manufacturing setting
• Proficient in Coding Invoices accurately and efficiently
• Strong Data Entry skills with high attention to detail
• Extensive experience in Invoice Processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of advanced functions
• Knowledge and experience working with SAP software in a manufacturing environment
