Location: Syracuse, NY

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer specializing in Ultrasound and Vascular Imaging to join our dynamic healthcare team in Syracuse, NY. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment, providing critical diagnostic services to our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality ultrasound and vascular examinations, ensuring accurate data acquisition for diagnostic interpretation.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to discuss findings and ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records using our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Participate in quality assurance activities to uphold the highest standards of imaging excellence.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or the U.S. Department of Education (USDOE).
• Certification: Active Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification in Abdominal and OB/Gyn specialties. ARDMS certification is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sonographer in Ultrasound and Vascular imaging. Prior experience in an inpatient setting is preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Licensure: Current New York State license; able to be certified/re-certified in CPR.

Schedule:

• Rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call duties as required.
