About Our Client
The Network Engineer will oversee network infrastructure, implement security measures, and manage AWS cloud services for a growth-driven investment firm based in New York, NY. This role is fully on site.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement network security plans, including monitoring, auditing, and intrusion prevention.
- Manage and maintain the firm's network and communication infrastructure, both on-premise and cloud-based.
- Oversee AWS cloud infrastructure, including firewall management and automated IaC deployment.
- Provide user support for both on-site and remote employees.
- Contribute to the firm's cybersecurity strategy, including business continuity and disaster recovery efforts.

The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate:
- Has strong expertise in network administration and cybersecurity, with experience in firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Proficient in advanced networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VLANs, with a deep understanding of the TCP/IP stack.
- Skilled in managing AWS cloud infrastructure, including firewall configurations and resource management.
- An excellent team player with strong technical writing and documentation skills.
- Able to provide hands-on, on-premise network support and manage enterprise networking systems such as Fortinet, Juniper, and Meraki.
