Human Resources Generalist - Danbury

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Contract Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic HR team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing various HR department functions and facilitating HR best practices within the organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Partner with internal departments to manage HR-related needs.
2. Coordinate and direct work activities for managers and employees.
3. Address complex employee relations matters, such as work complaints or other employee concerns.
4. Administer employee compensation, training and development, records management, safety protocols, recruitment, and employee relations.
5. Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining employee records, responding to HR inquiries, and providing data reports as needed.
6. Assist in benefits administration and payroll.
7. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
8. Develop programs to improve employee engagement and satisfaction.
9. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, is required.
10. Proven experience as an HR Generalist
11. Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
12. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
13. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
14. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
15. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time contract position located in Danbury, CT. Working hours are typically Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
