Accounting Manager/Supervisor

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Santa Barbara, California. As an integral part of our team, the Accounting Manager/Supervisor will be instrumental in managing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring compliance with SOX 404 requirements, and utilizing NetSuite to optimize financial business processes.

• Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and treasury
• Streamline, automate, and enhance financial business processes using NetSuite
• Ensure compliance with SOX 404 requirements, managing internal controls over accounting and financial procedures
• Collaborate with external auditors to facilitate a smooth audit process
• Compile and maintain timely and precise financial statements and reports in line with GAAP standards
• Comply with all local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Offer guidance on financial reporting and operational matters
• Prepare and review monthly journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Direct month-end and year-end close processes
• Contribute to the company's financial strategy and operations as we continue to innovate and grow. • Holds a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
• Demonstrated proficiency in auditing
• Proficient in using NetSuite software
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience in handling general ledger operations
• Skilled in conducting month-end close procedures
• Familiarity with financial reporting processes
• Ability to perform audit procedures as required
• Experience in preparing and posting monthly journal entries
• Proficient in performing balance sheet account reconciliation
