Responsibilities
Our client is seeking a Business Development Executive of Financial Services to drive the generation, development, and capture of net new multi-million-dollar transactions within the commercial financial space. The ideal candidate will have a sales background focused within the commercial financial space selling either IT managed services, digital transformation, consulting, cloud services, and/or systems integrations.Additionally, candidates should be able to articulate their proven success in leading and closing medium to large-scale deals. - This also includes supporting the development of project management plans and reporting on the delivery through the implementation and deployment.
The Business Development Executive's territory will primarily focus on the Mid-West region of the US.
- Advise financial senior executive clients on industry trends, strategic priorities, and possible partnership opportunities
- Partner with clients to create business value and oversee complex program delivery, including building and managing proposal teams and project execution
- Shape and influence solutions for clients in connection with their strategic priorities and service offerings
- Drive profitable growth by developing a long-term pipeline of opportunities
- Develop project management plans and report on deliverables through implementation and deployment
- Build relationships with new clients and support the growth of existing clients
- Drive opportunities and revenue through the organization’s capabilities
- Expand the company's Xchange program into new opportunities beyond staffing apprentices
- 10+ years of business development experience with at least five years of experience selling either strategic managed services, IT consulting, or hybrid multi-cloud infrastructure solutions into the commercial financial space
- Proven project management experience with the ability to oversee the program delivery through project execution
- Must have demonstrated success in selling multiple, multi-year deals in the $500K to $100M range
- Ability to bring an established book of business in IT/cloud managed services, technology implementations, and advisory/consulting services within financial institutions
- Proven experience driving sales from lead generation to contract signing and service initiation/completion
- Proven achievement of quarterly and year-over-year performance goals
- Experience in defining and delivering ROI/Business Cases for large-scale initiatives
- Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships
- Experience with professional services sales including project scoping, pricing, and complex proposal development
- Proven negotiation experience
- Strong public-facing presentation, communication and writing skills for and company content contributions
- Experience in supporting organizational development activities such as recruiting and community building
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed
- A Bachelors degree is required for this position
