Responsibilities:

Real Alloy is recruiting for a Purchasing Agent at our Wabash Recycle Facility. The role of Purchasing Agent requires a highly driven person who will efficiently purchase facility supplies and services . You will manage the plants non-metal inventory.

You will provide administrative support for the MVP system and to the Plant Controller, Maintenance Manager and HSE. Purcahsing Agent Core Accountabilities
  1. Comply with all safety standards and regulations.
  2. Prepare all non-metal purchase orders.
  3. Receiving of all non-metal items, unloading trucks, inspecting parts, putting parts in storage racks.
  4. Process all non-metal invoices and send to AP daily.
  5. Maintains all active and historical purchasing related documentation and records in accordance with purchase department requirements, including but not limited to, filing, printing reports, maintain purchasing information electronically. File invoice package (invoice, PO, receiving BOL) on a daily basis.
  6. Aid in forecasting and tracking of plant spending daily.
  7. Assist in audit compliance.
  8. Assist the maintenance manager with implementation of MVP and tracking of non-metal inventory.
  9. Act as the initial contact for vendor, bring in maintenance supervision as needed or requested.
  10. Manage inventory of non-metal parts and supplies on shop floor. Locate and tag all critical spare items as they are received. Maintain Critical Spare Inventory List.
  11. Conduct monthly critical spare meetings.

Qualifications:

HS Diploma or equivalent business experience is a minimum requirement.

One or two years of clerical accounting preferred.

Proven ability to develop, implement and manage systems and procedures.

Must possess strong interpersonal, communication and team leadership skills.

Strong decision making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross-functionally.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel required.

Oracle experience considered a plus.

Highly motivated, goal oriented, ethical, and challenge driven.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
