Tax Advisor

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Tax Advisor in the Investment Management industry. This role is based in the Metro-West area, and involves a combination of tax preparation and client service responsibilities.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparing and filing 1040 and 1041 tax forms.
• Providing Client Service support outside of tax season.
• Engaging in Income Tax Planning activities.
• Supporting SEC Compliance measures.
• Utilizing various Accounting Software Systems, including ADP - Financial Services, CaseWare, CCH ProSystem Fx, and CCH Sales Tax.
• Performing general Accounting Functions and Bookkeeping Functions.
• Ensuring Auditing and Compliance standards are met.
• Delivering excellent Customer Service.
• Handling Estate Tax Return, Estate Tax, Fiduciary Income Tax Return, and Fiduciary Tax tasks.
• Monitoring and managing customer inquiries and accounts.
• Experience with 1040
• Knowledge of Estate Tax Return and Estate Tax
• Familiarity with Fiduciary Income Tax Return and Fiduciary Tax
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all work
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) designation preferred
• Previous experience in a tax advisory role is desirable
