Senior Software Engineer Applications

Serve as part of Rockwell Automation's Enterprise Transformation Office and focus on the development, implementation, management, and support of a range of applications. Analyze business technology needs and propose software application plans that best meet those needs.
Design, develop, and customize software solutions. Implement, install, and test software solutions. Undertake complex software applications implementations projects. Manage DevOps and software releases. Serve as a mentor to junior-level IT professionals.
Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.

Work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements. Maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.

Full time employment, Monday Friday, 40 hours per week.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience.

Alternatively, the employer will accept a master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.

Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

Microsoft.Net technology stack, SQL Server, Microservices, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery; Agile methodologies and Scrum Master; Product Activation and Downloads; and

Azure Development including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, Log Analytics, Azure DevOps, and GitHub.

Must have 2 years of experience in API Integration, MuleSoft, NeoLoad, qTest, and Oracle Service Cloud.

Certification in Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals required.
