Position SummaryThe Staff Accountant works as part of the finance and accounting team and is primarily responsible for daily bank and account reconciliations for our loan and investment portfolios. The Staff Accountant is a detailed oriented self-starter with a good understanding of the basics of accounting.Responsibilities & Duties-Perform daily bank account and general ledger account reconciliations.-Maintain various sub-ledgers related to our loan and investment portfolio.-Update month end and quarter end internal and external reporting files.-Provide quarterly documentation to audit group and external audit firms to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley internal control requirements and to support audit of external financial statements-Maintain desk level procedures for processes as necessary
