Bookkeeper - Lake In The Hills

We are offering a contract opportunity for a Part Time Bookkeeper in Lake in the Hills, Illinois, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting HR functions within our team.

**QuickBooks experience is a must!**

Responsibilities:

• Handle the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Conduct month-end close procedures.
• Prepare and package profit and loss statements.
• Carry out reconciliations of financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Manage workers compensation and business insurance renewal processes.
• Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial statements.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and data analysis.
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop
• Possession of a minimum of 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping role
• Demonstrated proficiency in Month End Close procedures
• Solid experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Knowledge and experience in managing General Ledger
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks
• Experience in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
