Responsibilities- Strives to balance quality, productivity, safety, and food safety to deliver positive results across all areas.
- Builds and maintains excellent employee relations.
- Addresses and resolves employee concerns through effective problem-solving.
- Offers coaching and guidance to maintenance team members to enhance their performance.
- Supports operations by improving machine uptime and boosting plant productivity.
- Champions continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes.
- Ensures compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
- Assigns daily tasks and responsibilities to maintenance team members.
- Conducts regular performance evaluations for all maintenance personnel.
- Enforces plant policies, procedures, and safety rules consistently.
- Tracks and reports departmental performance metrics to the facility manager as required.
- Establishes daily goals to maximize machine uptime and overall productivity.
- Performs audits to verify adherence to quality, safety, and environmental housekeeping standards.
- Monitors team performance, identifies obstacles, and implements actionable solutions.
- Oversees training and professional development to maintain appropriate skill levels within the maintenance team.
- Ensures compliance with environmental regulatory requirements.
- Maintains a key spares inventory program to minimize downtime on critical machinery.
