Responsibilities- Supervise and lead the shipping/receiving team, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
- Coordinate and manage the shipment and receipt of materials, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, particularly for hazardous materials.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular audits, cycle counts, and resolving discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments (production, procurement, quality control) to ensure smooth workflow.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs in shipping/receiving operations.
