Staff Accountant

We are looking to add a Staff Accountant to our expanding team in Naperville, Illinois, United States. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for handling various tasks related to accounting, such as AIA G702 and G703 billing, payroll processing, invoice entry, and assisting with month-end close and reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Handling AIA G702 and G703 billing procedures in an accurate and timely manner
• Regularly processing certified payroll reports to ensure all data is up-to-date
• Entering invoices into QuickBooks with precision and efficiency
• Assisting in the month-end close processes to maintain financial accuracy
• Conducting reconciliations to ensure all accounting data aligns
• Maintaining an organized system of records for all accounting-related documents
• Addressing and resolving any issues or discrepancies related to accounting processes
• Assisting other team members in accounting tasks as needed
• Keeping up-to-date with industry changes and updates in accounting procedures
• Ensuring all tasks and responsibilities are performed in compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Holding a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is necessary
• Experience with AIA Billing is required
• Familiarity with Certified Payroll is essential
• Strong numerical proficiency and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make well-judged decisions
• Proficiency in Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality
• Holding a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential is a plus.

Salary Range-$70,000 - $80,000
