iSeries RPGLE Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RPGLE developer. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in RPG development, ERP experience, database administration, and reporting/analytics. This role is integral to the development

and support of critical systems within the manufacturing and distribution industry.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintenance applications in RPG, RPGLE, and SQLRPGLE
• Develop and maintain reporting and analytics solutions for business stakeholders,

• Troubleshoot iSeries program errors, messages, and alerts
• Collaborates with business and IT leadership to automate and/or optimize business

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver

• Works directly with the ERP vendor (VAI) on support and development initiatives
• Testing and validation of IBM Power Systems software updates
• Supports month and year end procedures and processing
• Performs other related duties as required or as requested by the ERP Manager

Required Skills and Experience:

• A bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of RPG, RPGLE, and SQLRPGLE development experience
• Experience in VAI S2K ERP preferred but not required
• Knowledge or understanding of how IBM iSeries applications work; Exposure to
