Director of Digital Coaching & Education
MANUAL currently serves 60,000+ young men across 50+ high schools, universities, fraternities, and organizations across the country.
In this role, you will experience the empowerment and excitement of working in a startup while being supported by a broader company with institutional resources. MANUAL was acquired by Release in August 2024. Prior to acquisition by Release, MANUAL raised capital from Expanse Venture Partners, 12-48, the Inner Foundation, and angel investors from companies like Maven Clinic, McKinsey & Company, Eleanor Health, and more, most of whom stay actively involved in the joint company today.
The Director of Digital Coaching & Education is a senior leadership role within the Release team. Other leadership at Release are trailblazers who are transforming the stigma and treatment around Substance Use Disorder and Mental Illness. They include CEO Zac Clark (founded Release Recovery in 2016), COO Matthew Stefanko (founder and former CEO of MANUAL; previously McKinsey, Planned Parenthood, and Shatterproof), Chief Medical Officer Dr.Michael McCormick (formerly Caron Treatment Centers) and Chief Technology Officer Karl Morand (10+ years startup experience).
