Job Description:

• We are looking for a skilled Medical Assistant to join our outpatient clinic team. This position requires a minimum of one year of experience and involves providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Take and record patient histories, vital signs, and other relevant information.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by the provider.
• Schedule appointments and handle follow-up communications with patients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the clinical environment.
• Provide education to patients regarding treatment plans and health management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Experience in adult outpatient clinics preferred, with familiarity in General/Family Practice, Pulmonary, and Internal Medicine.
• Preferred skills in taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and administering treatments (e.g., nebulizer treatments).
• Experience with pharmacy calls and patient refill requests is a plus.
• Ability to float within scope as needed.
