Payroll Specialist - Robert Half

This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate processing and recording of the company's payroll through accounting software systems
• Provide on-site support and assistance in payroll-related queries and challenges
• Utilize ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now for efficient payroll management
• Work with Ceridian and Dayforce systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date payroll records
• Oversee 401k - RRSP Administration to ensure compliance and accuracy
• Perform various accounting functions related to payroll
• Conduct regular audits to ensure all payroll records are accurate
• Manage and oversee benefit functions related to payroll
• Resolve any payroll discrepancies and ensure all payroll functions are running smoothly and efficiently
• Take appropriate action to improve the overall functioning and efficiency of the payroll system. • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now
• Knowledge of Ceridian
• Proficient in using Dayforce
• Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration
• Ability to use About Time software
• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience in Auditing
• Knowledge of Benefit Functions
