Engineering Internship

CDI Engineering Solutions is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.
Position Summary:
Under the direction of a Senior Engineer, this co-op/intern will assist with the 3D modeling, review of shop drawings, 2D drafting, and minor calculations of a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will be an engineering student with a strong desire to learn and develop experience with CAD software.Engineering disciplines preferred are: Civil, Process, Mechanical and Electrical.
Responsibilities:
Assist engineers and designers with 3D modeling, reviewing shop drawings, 2D drafting, and minor calculations of a variety of projects.
Qualifications:
Effective communication skills.
Self starter, focused, well organized and team oriented.
Programming skills a plus.
Education Requirements:
In the process of working towards a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Engineering in one of the following Disciplines:
Civil
Process
Mechanical
Electrical
