WHO YOULL WORK WITH

You will be a key member of the Los Angeles Recruiting team, supporting the strategic design, development, planning, and execution of all recruiting efforts for Associate Consultant, Consultant, and intern programs. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and candidates to ensure a seamless recruiting experience.

WHERE YOULL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM

As a Recruiting Specialist, you will take ownership of multiple recruiting processes, ensuring operational efficiency and high-touch candidate engagement. You will manage event planning, interview coordination, recruiting communications, and various administrative and analytical tasks to support Bains talent acquisition goals.

WHAT YOULL DO

Event Planning & Execution

Lead and execute recruiting strategies for target schools, managing campus relationships and candidate selection processes.

Oversee logistics for diversity and emerging sources programs, including Building Entrepreneurial Leaders (BEL), Connecting and Resourcing Empowered Women (CREW), Building and Supporting Excellence (BASE), ADvantage, and Consulting Kickstart.

Provide operational support for the Summer Associate and Associate Consultant internship programs, including planning and managing social events, training, staffing, and final presentations.

Plan and execute offeree weekends for Associate Consultants, Associate Consultant Interns, Consultants, and Summer Associates.

Coordinate and manage interview logistics, including scheduling candidates, confirming interviewers, preparing materials, serving as the main point of contact for candidates and interviewers, and facilitating pre-interview and debrief meetings.

Support the marketing strategy for targeted campuses. Schedule in-person and virtual marketing and closing events and manage logistics including overseeing invitations, RSVPs, catering, and event coordination.

Support the recruiting commitments process by managing the calendar of events, inputting details into Avature (applicant tracking system), assigning staff, and ensuring event coverage.

Communication Management

Provide timely, high-touch communication to candidates, ensuring an outstanding recruiting experience.

Serve as a liaison between candidates, recruiting teams, and Bain consulting staff.

Communicate recruiting updates to internal stakeholders, including interview schedules, event coordination, and process updates.

Other Responsibilities

Develop school specific recruiting plans in partnership with school team leads and/or diversity team leads, provide guidance and support to consulting staff in lead roles.

Lead the candidate selection process, managing resume review teams and compiling application materials.

Help manage the recruiting budget, tracking expenses and ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (Avature), ensuring data integrity in event management and reporting.

Work with the Los Angeles HR team to manage new hire onboarding, including paperwork, staffing preparation, and start date coordination.

Participate in strategic analysis projects as needed.

ABOUT YOU

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree (BA/BS) required, with a minimum of three years of professional experience, preferably in a professional services environment.

Outstanding interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), project management, and organizational skills.

Results-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.

Comfort in interacting with candidates, school contacts, and internal Bain stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and overtime as needed.

U.S. Compensation Information

Compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, 401(k) plan with an annual employer contribution based on years of service and Bains best in class benefits package (details listed below).

Some local governments in the United States require a good-faith, reasonable salary range be included in job postings for open roles. The estimated annualized compensation for this role is as follows

In California state, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is between $31.73/hr - $37.98/hr; placement within this range will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level

For all other locations, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is commensurate with competitive geographic market rates for this role and will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level

Annual discretionary performance bonus

This role may also be eligible for other elements of discretionary compensation
