We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our team in the Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry, located in Long Beach, California. This role entails a combination of administrative tasks, data entry, and office duties, with an emphasis on assisting with payroll preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation of payroll, although not directly involved in executing payroll tasks
- Carrying out administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office
- Undertaking data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Using data entry skills to maintain and update computer data systems
- Utilizing administrative assistance skills to support the team and office operations
- Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary
- Processing customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
- Maintaining detailed and accurate customer credit records. • Proficiency in Data Entry is required
- Strong skills in Computer Data Entry are essential
- Previous experience in Administrative Assistance is necessary
- Expertise in Administrative Office procedures is a must
- Knowledge of Waste, Refuse & Environmental Waste Management industry is beneficial
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work as needed
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated
