About Our Client

Our client is a veteran-owned general contractor located in the northern suburbs of Chicago. They specialize in 100% federal projects located mainly in the Chicagoland area, bringing in an annual revenue of over $100M. This family feel general contractor is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join a collaborative team that is projected to grow, with a clear path toward the Senior Project Manager level.

Job Description

Develop and implement master project schedule
Identify critical path and long lead items
Perform quality control duties
Coordinate required inspections with local municipalities and jurisdictions
Document control (RFI's, change orders, submittals, etc.)
Participate in client meetings, establish and grow long-standing client relationships

The Successful Applicant

3+ years of construction experience with a general contractor
Degree in construction management or related discipline
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and other construction drawings
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient using Microsoft platforms including Microsoft Project
Detail-oriented
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
