Maintenance Electrical Supervisor (job description)
We have partnered with a Global Packaging and Printing Company to lead a search for their Maintenance Electrical Supervisor role near Cincinnati Ohio.
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Position Description: Responsible for overall supervision and coordination of Maintenance employee activities related to the setup, installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure safe operation of the plant.
Primary Responsibilities:Operational responsibility for supervising electrical maintenance tasks and team members, and supporting plant operations:
Oversee and guide electricians and maintenance personnel in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and machinery to ensure smooth plant operations.
Monitor and assess the performance of electrical systems and equipment, identifying issues, and working with the team to implement timely and effective solutions.
Supervise the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and machinery, ensuring compliance with plant standards and safety regulations.
Enforce adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols during electrical work, ensuring all maintenance activities comply with electrical safety standards and company policies.
Ensure record accuracy in Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and enforce accurate use with maintenance technicians.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues in industrial equipment and industrial systems
Ensure accurate documentation of electrical maintenance schedules, repairs, installations, and employee training. Maintain regulatory compliance through proper record-keeping.
Assist with the planning and supervision of capital projects, electrical upgrades, and equipment installations. Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure successful project execution.
Collaborate with plant leadership and operations teams to identify and resolve electrical issues, minimizing downtime and improving equipment reliability.

OEM and contractor contracts
