Paralegal

As a Paralegal, you will be tasked with various responsibilities including reviewing client documents, drafting legal correspondence, and preparing pleadings.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately review and analyze client documents as part of our commitment to excellent customer service.
• Draft and prepare letters addressed to credit bureaus or mortgage services to facilitate efficient communication.
• Handle the creation of initial disclosures and discovery documents, ensuring their accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
• Compose legal correspondence and client communication, ensuring all information is conveyed clearly and professionally.
• Prepare pleadings, ensuring they are accurate and comply with all legal requirements.
• Generate charts to correspond with discovery, aiding in the organization and presentation of information.
• Investigate and address instances of consumer credit fraud and identity theft, protecting our customers and upholding our commitment to safety.
• Utilize your skills in e-Discovery and Discovery Requests and Responses, contributing to our team's efficiency and effectiveness.
• Draft pleadings, using your expertise to ensure they are accurate and legally sound.
• Applicant must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Paralegal role.
• Proficient knowledge of Consumer Banking is required.
• Familiarity with Consumer Bankruptcy procedures is necessary.
• Experience in Consumer Finance is expected.
• Understanding of Consumer Credit systems is mandatory.
• Prior experience in Fraud Investigation is a must.
• Knowledge of Credit Card Fraud investigation is essential.
• Understanding of Identity Theft cases is needed.
• Experience in dealing with Payday Loans is required.
• Familiarity with Juris is necessary.
• Experience as a Litigation Paralegal is expected.
• Knowledge of Paralegal roles and responsibilities is mandatory.
• Prior experience with Discovery is a must.
• Proficient in handling Discovery Requests is essential.
• Experience in providing Discovery Responses is needed.
• Familiarity with e-Discovery is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Pleadings is required.
• Proficient in Preparing Pleadings is essential.
• Experience in drafting Legal Pleadings is expected.
