Test Automation Engineer - Need nearby consultants who can share
Position:Test Automation EngineerLocation: Tyson, VA Description Develop, execute, and maintain automated API/UI/Unit test scripts for Acceptance, Usability, Functional, smoke, and Regression testing to enable Continuous Delivery. Design, build, test, and deploy effective test automation solutions Define automation coding and source code management standards Work closely with multiple development teams to ensure automation testing practices are incorporated across the development cycle.
Evaluate and implement testing tools and automated scripts to provide test coverage. Creates and updates test automation function libraries, applications, automation scripts, and data files (see detailed documentation by authors). Assist in supporting and running test automation scripts across production and non-production environments Improve existing test automation frameworks (i.e. make them faster, more flexible, and easier to use).Utilize parallel processing or grid systems to speed up the tests Support transitioning existing manual test cases to automated testing and integrating with CI/CD pipeline. Experience in agile methodologies: Scrum and Kanban. Basic Qualification Bachelors degree in computer science or a related discipline OR an equivalent combination of education and work experience 8 + years of experience as an automation test engineer and hands-on test automation design and development experience with a strong knowledge of Selenium.
Experience with developing test automation frameworks like Selenium (with. Net/Java), Specflow, Cucumber, TestNG or other BDD testing frameworks Experience in Agile SDLC, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment is strongly desired Strong Experience in Behavior Driven Development testing frameworks Demonstrated experience in planning and executing complex automation testing projects Passion for quality and great attention to detail Need resumes @ , consultants with 11+ years who can share PP# and bachelor copy.
