HR Generalist

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an HR Generalist in Cardiff by the Sea, California. This role involves collaborating with executive leadership to attract and maintain a skilled workforce. It is a position in the HR industry where you will be expected to lead the recruitment process, assist with new hire orientations, and manage employee benefits.

• Spearhead the recruitment process from the initial stages to the final offer and onboarding
• Contribute to the creation of new hire orientation programs, including scheduling support and production of informative materials
• Coordinate pre-employment screenings and facilitate employee familiarization tours
• Manage benefit elections for new hires and handle termination of benefits as required
• Provide support for any benefit-related issues, ensuring high standards of service
• Oversee tracking and compliance of employee leaves of absence, including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, and workers’ compensation, ensuring legal requirements are met
• Maintain accurate recordkeeping of all employment-related documents in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as internal policies and procedures
• Assist with the administration and tracking of employee certification awards, renewals, and expirations
• Facilitate the administration of the performance evaluation process for probationary and routine employee performance reviews
• Administer employee exit process including completion and processing of required paperwork and conducting formal exit interviews
• Assist with investigations into employee relations matters as required
• Contribute to the development and implementation of employee relations initiatives.
• Extensive knowledge and practical experience with ADP
• Financial Services
• Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Experience with Ceridian and Dayforce software
• Understanding of Benefit Functions and their implementation
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability to ensure Compliance with HR policies and regulations
• Proven experience in Employee Relations management
• Knowledge of FMLA and its application in the workplace.
