About Our Client

Our client, a well-established general contractor specializing in commercial projects, is seeking a skilled Commercial Construction Estimator to join their team. With a focus on quality and innovation, they work on a range of projects including office buildings, retail spaces, and mixed-use developments.

• Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and pricing for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Solicit and review bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Collaborate with project managers and design teams to provide value engineering options.
• Analyze project risks and provide solutions to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
• Prepare bid proposals and present them to clients.
• Maintain accurate cost databases and industry knowledge to support competitive pricing.

• 5+ years of experience as an Estimator in the commercial construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and building systems.
• Proficient in estimation software (e.g., ProEst, PlanSwift, Bluebeam).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
