Plant Controller

The Plant Controller will also be responsible for monthly financial close and reporting, cash management, and cost accounting. The ideal candidate will partner with the plant management and operations team to identify, plan, and control costs and to propose recommendations to improve site performance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the plant's financial control processes and systems, ensuring they comply with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Monitor plant operation results against operating plans and prepare the monthly financial statements.
• Handle cost accounting and inventory valuation, including tracking labor costs and overhead.
• Support the site to meet or exceed all annual financial metrics.
• Monitor, analyze, and report monthly actual results against the budget.
• Coordinate with external auditors and address any audit findings with plant operational leadership.
• Perform any other responsibilities that may be assigned by the site leader.

The ideal Plant Controller will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or similar. CPA preferred.

Other requirements for the Plant Controller role include and are not limited to:

• 6+ years cost accounting experience, with supervisory experience
• Inventory experience required
• Experience with SAGE preferred.
• Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to articulate recommendations in a concise and timely manner
• Able to handle multiple tasks and maintain control and order over same
