Inbound Logistics Coordinator - Trenton

We are on the lookout for an Inbound Logistics Coordinator to join our team in New Jersey. In this role, you will be tasked with responsibilities that span across various aspects of logistics, including ocean transportation, insurance, freight forwarding, warehousing, trucking, customs brokerage, import and export, and trade finance.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee inbound shipments to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, warehousing facilities, and trucking companies to streamline logistics processes.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of ocean transportation and apply this knowledge to optimize logistics operations.
• Leverage your knowledge of import and export procedures, customs brokerage, and trade finance to navigate logistics challenges.
• Handle insurance-related tasks associated with inbound logistics.
• Provide excellent customer service, resolving customer inquiries and maintaining accurate customer records
• Proficiency in managing inbound shipments, with a strong understanding of customs regulations and procedures
• Demonstrated experience in supply chain logistics, with the ability to effectively coordinate and oversee the movement of goods
• Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
• Strong knowledge of logistics software and systems to ensure efficient and timely delivery of shipments
• Proven ability to problem-solve and make informed decisions under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
• Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments to streamline logistics processes and procedures
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
• Relevant certifications in Logistics or Supply Chain Management would be advantageous.
