Job Description:
As a Service BDC Supervisor, you will oversee our Business Development Center (BDC) team to ensure exceptional customer service, efficient appointment scheduling, and effective customer communications. You will play a critical role in managing and enhancing the customer experience within our service department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management:
- Supervise, train, and support the BDC team members.
- Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure the team meets or exceeds established goals and objectives.
- Customer Relations:
- Oversee customer interactions to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Handle escalated customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Scheduling and Coordination:
- Coordinate with service advisors and technicians to schedule service appointments efficiently.
- Manage the service appointment calendar to optimize workflow and minimize customer wait times.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team performance.
- Prepare and present reports on BDC activities and results to management.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve service processes and customer experiences.
- Implement new strategies and technologies to enhance BDC efficiency.
- Communication:
- Maintain clear and effective communication with other departments, such as sales, parts, and service.
- Ensure all customer interactions are recorded and updated in the CRM system.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a BDC or customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, scheduling software, and other relevant technologies.
- Ability to handle and resolve customer issues effectively.
