Job Description
The Mixed- Use Project Manager
- Elite General Contractor
- DC Metro will be responsible for:
- The overall management and successful completion of major, multi-million-dollar multi-family base building projects
- Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Fostering strong relationships with clients, owners, architects, and internal staff
- Project organization, implementation and completion to the satisfaction of the client
- Managing project plans from preconstruction to completion
- Establishing checklists for inspections and SOPs
- Working in coordination with field personnel to implement and enforce quality control standards
- Participating in weekly subcontractor meetings with project Superintendent
- Overseeing subcontractor performance
- Tracking all potential change orders
- Leading and train project team members to support their growth and development
- Administering work inspections to ensure that quality and performance standards are being met
- Managing project closeout

The Successful Applicant
The Mixed- Use Project Manager
- Elite General Contractor
- DC Metro will have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- +/- 5-10 years of experience in construction (multi-family preferred, or a mix of multi-family and commercial)
- General Contracting background
- Demonstrated history of successfully overseeing large-scale multi-family base building projects valued between $20M - $100M+
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience mentoring and training junior team members
- Excellent leadership and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other project management software
